NAI’s family of highly configurable rugged COTS systems enables you to combine their smart function modules, boards, power supplies and software into the rugged chassis of your choice. Add your unique application and deliver a system that meets your specific requirements quickly and with little or no NRE.
These systems can be configured with or without an SBC, and are designed to operate reliably in extreme temperature, shock, vibration & EMI environments.
NAI’s family of highly configurable Rugged COTS Systems are ideally suited for defence, commercial aerospace and industrial applications that require high-density I/O, communications, Ethernet switching and processing for mission-critical tasks such as communications, guidance, sense and response, data acquisition and motion control. The simplified, modular approach of their Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) enables them to use the same building blocks across multiple platforms and programmes, making it possible for you to develop semi-custom solutions quickly, without NRE, while retaining all the benefits of COTS products.
NAI’s Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) solutions provide customers with pre-configured, pre-validated, rugged military embedded solutions that save development time and cost while reducing programme risk. These Flexible, Adaptable, Configurable, Modular and Expandable Systems Eliminate custom designs and redesigns by taking advantage of NAI’s Configurable Open Systems Architecture (COSA). NAI’s full suite of MOSA Solutions are ARM® Cortex®-A53 processor-based and are ruggedised to withstand -40° C to +71° C and qualified to MIL-STD-1275D & MIL-STD-704A with 50 ms holdup (VITA 62 power supply); MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-810G.
