Standard heights available from 3U, 6U and 9U, 2 through 21 slots wide. Standard or IEEE1101.10 extrusion configurations, with or without rackmount flanges.
CUC-1103: Custom 3U cPCI development card cage featuring U-card guides for testing conduction cooled boards. 3 slot cPCI backplane and custom power supply connector. GPC-3108: VMEbus 6UX160MM 8 slot card cage. Ships assembled and complete with insulating strips and tapped extrusions. No rack mount flanges. RMC-2206: Horizontal 6UX160MM standard card cage with custom fan assembly. RMC-1121: 3UX160MM 21 slot standard card cage with rackmount flanges and 2″ rear pin protection, snap-In card guides and inject/eject extrusions.

VPX: A full line of accessories for the VPX marketplace based on the various VITA Standards for VPX, offering unique and innovative features. cPCI/ cPCI Bridge 64 bit & 32 bit. cPCI extended backplane 18-21 slots. Ethernet Conversion Modules: 10G-KR/KX/SGMII to 10G/1G-BASE-T Conversion Module. Convert Backplane SERDES interfaces (KR/KX/SGMII/USXGMII/) to 10G/1000/100 BASE-T for External Chassis interface. Transition Module Extender Cards: Extension of VME64x RTM boards from rear of backplane. Some systems have obstructions such as power supplies behind J1 which prevents direct insertion of RTM’s. 6U Extender Boards: 6U VMEbus and VME64 extension standards extender boards are primarily used to adapt the depth of a 6U board to fit into a deeper-sized card cage. Test Extender Boards: 3U, 6U and 9U VMEbus, VME64x and Universal testing applications test and form factor extender boards. Excellent power and ground distribution. Prototyping Boards: 3U and 6U VME, VME64x and CompactPCI prototyping boards. 0.1″ pin grid arrays allow for easy and efficient testing of your active components. Slot Load Boards: Dawn invented the slot load board (US Patent 5,157,326) to provide all necessary features to conduct thermal analysis, design validation and system characterisation. Available in all standard bus architectures and custom. Slot Bypass Boards: 6U VME and VME64x slot bypass boards provides jumpering for BG/IACK signals through P1. Excellent way to fill empty system slots. Air flow management can also be improved.
Filler Panels: 3U, 6U and 9U high quality filler panels in variety of widths. Standard, IEEE1101.10 versions and customisation of standard panels. Alodine coated for maximum electrical conductivity and superior corrosion resistance. Complete with all required mounting hardware. Overlays: Adds or expands VSBbus architecture for your host VMEbus architecture. Geographical addressing is user defined at each slot. Daisy-chain jumper option accessible from overlay rear. Power Busbars: Dawn’s busbar sets are designed to reduce assemble time connecting +5V, +3.3V and GND to backplanes by allowing the use of one or more large wire cables rather than multiple smaller ones.
