Time & Frequency Systems – Multiple applications, GPS synchronised frequency standard systems
Brandywine Communications offers high quality time and frequency GPS Synchronised clocks with budget friendly costs in a variety of formats such as the NFS-220 and the NFS-220 plus. These U.S. made time and frequency standards incorporate a GPS receiver which continuously calibrates the internal precision clock to provide both time of day and frequency in a variety of output formats and interfaces.
Example: The FRU is a state of the art, high-precision frequency standard capable of outputting ten isolated precision 10MHz frequency reference outputs.

The Ethernet interface includes a built in web server and NTP server functions.
MODULAR TIME & FREQUENCY SYSTEMS
The Brandywine Communications family of modular time and frequency systems offer superior performance, a wide range of option choices, and ease of design. The newest modular timing system to the Brandywine family is the HPTS, offering dual redundancy, network-centric modular system with the highest accuracy of 10ns and allows for automatic compensation and propagation delay.
Applications for the modular family include data acquisition and telemetry system support, network synchronisation, video annotation, time stamping, displays for hospitals and public buildings and military applications. Our modular timing systems are qualified for shipboard, airborne and land mobile applications.

Time & Frequency Distribution Amplifiers
These precision timing signal distribution amplifiers offer a variety of time and frequency signals and interface formats including IRIG A, IRIG B, Have Quick, 1PPS, as well as low phase noise reference frequencies.
All of these distribution amplifiers feature dual inputs with automatic failover and multiple independently buffered outputs.
These Distribution Amplifiers are built at the ISO9001 accredited design and manufacturing facility in the U.S. and are readily available for quick delivery in volume numbers as required.
NTP / PTP TIME SERVERS
NTP / PTP Time Servers – GPS Time Server Using Network Time Protocol
NTP – We offer a large line of Network Time Servers using NTP (Network Time Protocol). These NTP Servers provide a convenient and flexible means of accurately time-synchronising computers, time displays, PBX’s, and a wide variety of other equipment. All Brandywine Network Time Servers use GPS Network Time Protocol, or NTP for network time synchronisation. These network time servers are secure, reliable and easy to install within your system as an accurate timing source. A GPS NTP server will give your company the necessary timing accuracy for military applications, hospitals, technology companies and many other utilities that demand precision timing to support network accuracy and efficiency.
PTP – A high end range of instruments utilising the Precise Time Protocol (PTP). These products utilising IEEE 1588 PTP, can be used in many applications including TE, WiMAX, Ethernet Backhaul, Passive Optical Networks (PON), Circuit Emulation Services (CES), Electrical Power Distribution, Automation & Motion Control, Test and Measurement and for many Military apps.
BUS LEVEL TIMING CARDS
Brandywine offers the widest range of timing plug-in card form factors in the industry from the PCI timing cards to PMC to VME cards. With the largest variety of options including standards like IRIG B, 1PPS, Have Quick, and GPS you can customise your timing card to fit your needs.
From their most requested PCI Syncclock32 with optional GPS receiver, to their advanced conduction cooled PMC model to the still in production VME card, these boards offer the latest technology as well as the most extensive list of standard features and options available to bus level timing cards. Most of these timing cards include IRIG B, NASA, and 1PPS sync inputs as well as optional GPS synchronisation. Zero latency time to the microsecond, external event time capture to 100ns and two programmable rate generators are standard on most PCI cards as well.
A variety of options are available for our timing cards; the list of more common options are: extended temperature range, eight external event inputs, TCXO and OCXO time bases, and multiple output codes such as IRIG B and 1PPS.
TIME & MESSAGE DISPLAYS
Brandywine Communications designs and manufactures many different sized and shaped precise Time Displays – They offer both digital and analogue clocks to meet and fit your requirements with options such as IRIG-B, GPS or NTP synchronisation.
Brandywine’s time displays also have optional date messages with sizes ranging from 6 inches up to 8 feet in size.
All Brandywine time displays feature SNMP management for easy maintenance and use. With an impressive engineering facility in the U.S., they specialise in customising precision clocks to fit your specific needs.
These time displays are maintenance free and are used in many different prominent international locations and applications across the globe, including hospitals, schools, train stations and airports.
TIME MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT
Brandywine Communications is proud to offer TimeSpy, a cutting edge timing measurement tool designed for the precise measurement and analysis of a wide range of signals, such as PTP, NTP, IRIG B, 1PPS, ASCII in comparison to an internal precision GPS-controlled oscillator.
